The Truth Isn’t Yours or Mine — It’s His

“Live your truth.”

It sounds enlightened. Compassionate. Even freeing.

But it’s a lie.

There aren’t many truths. There’s only one.

Truth isn’t a feeling. It’s not a cultural consensus.

And it certainly isn’t whatever works best for you.

Truth is absolute. It exists outside of us. And it isn’t neutral — it divides.

Christ Himself said:

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34)

Truth has never been popular.

It wasn’t in Noah’s day. It wasn’t in Christ’s day. And it won’t be in the end time.

But truth is what sanctifies God’s people. It’s what separates light from darkness.
It’s the measuring stick that reveals which kingdom we belong to — this world’s, or God’s.

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)

That’s why truth can’t be up for debate. Not if you claim to follow Christ.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31–32)

This is where the gospel begins — not with grace, or even love, but with truth.

Truth about who we are. Truth about where this world is headed.

Truth about the coming Kingdom of God, which will crush every false way and establish one law, one government, and one truth over all nations.

As Herbert W. Armstrong once said:

“The Word of God is truth. That is the basis for all knowledge. And if we start anywhere else, we will end in error.”
