The Church Isn’t Saving the World—Yet

Every Sunday, pulpits thunder about “saving the world.” Congregations nod, believing they’re part of a global rescue mission.

But open your Bible. Christ Himself said: “No one can come to Me unless the Father draws him” (John 6:44, 65).

That means billions aren’t being called today. And that’s not failure—it’s God’s plan.

God is not trying to save the entire world right now. He is calling a small group—the firstfruits—to be trained as rulers in His coming Kingdom. The rest of humanity will have their chance later.

1. The Great Deception

Mainstream Christianity insists God is frantically trying to “get the world saved.” But if that were true, He’s losing badly. Wars rage, corruption thrives, and even “Christian nations” ignore God’s laws.

The Bible says the opposite: “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). This is not our time to rule the world.

2. The Harvest Principle

James 1:18 calls believers “a kind of firstfruits.”

What does that mean? In farming, firstfruits are simply the first picked—a small, early portion of the crop that proves the full harvest is coming. So God is working with a handful of people now, shaping them into leaders who will serve the world later.

Mega-churches chase numbers. God develops character. The main harvest comes when Christ returns, and “the earth shall be full of the knowledge of [YHWH]” (Isaiah 11:9).

3. The Training Ground

Your trials aren’t random—they’re preparation. Every struggle is leadership training for the coming Kingdom.

  • Financial stress? Learn God’s economic laws, including tithing and giving.
  • Relationship conflicts? Apply His justice system and His laws on relationships.
  • Health challenges? Discover His food and health laws and healing power.

Paul wrote: “If we endure, we shall also reign with Him” (2 Timothy 2:12).

Think of it like a medical residency. Doctors don’t run hospitals while still in training—they practice under supervision. Likewise, God’s firstfruits are in training now, preparing for real rulership when Christ returns.

This life isn’t about “going to heaven.” It’s about being shaped into rulers for God’s government to be established here on earth.

4. The Kingdom Countdown

Satan still rules this present world (2 Corinthians 4:4). God will not convert the masses until the enemy is removed at Christ’s return.

History proves the church cannot overthrow Satan’s system. Every attempt at Christian empires, crusades, or politics ended in corruption. Why? Because Satan still sits on the throne of this present world. That’s why God calls firstfruits now—He’s training a rescue team who will liberate humanity only after Christ returns.

5. The Sobering Reality

Not everyone in church pews is a firstfruit. Christ said, “Many are called, but few are chosen.”

Firstfruits aren’t measured by emotional altar calls but by obedience, endurance, and loyalty to God’s law. Real Christians are trained—not entertained.

God’s plan is bigger than we’ve been told. The church is not the Kingdom—it is the training ground. If you are called now, you’ve been drafted into eternity’s greatest mission: to help Christ save the world in the age to come.
