The Gospel You’ve Never Heard
What if I told you that nearly every church in the world preaches a false gospel?
Shocking—but true! For centuries, pulpits have told you the “gospel” is about Jesus: His birth, death, resurrection. They say the gospel is “receiving Christ,” or “going to heaven.” But open your Bible, and you’ll see that’s not what Jesus (or His real name, Yahshua) preached at all.
The true gospel—the very message Christ proclaimed—is the gospel of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14–15). It is the announcement of a coming divine government that will replace all human rule. This truth was buried for centuries and has been restored…
The gospel is not about Christ, it is the message Christ brought.
1. Yahshua (Jesus) Preached the Kingdom
When Christ began His ministry, His message was clear: “Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14–15). What gospel? Verse 14 spells it out: the gospel of the Kingdom of God. He wasn’t announcing Himself—He was declaring God’s rule breaking into history.
2. The Kingdom Is Government, Not a Feeling
Most churches spiritualize the Kingdom into “Christ in your heart.” But Daniel 2:44 reveals it is a literal government: “In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed.” Kingdom means rulership, laws, authority. Not sentiment, not mysticism—government.
3. Christ’s Role in the Message
Don’t misunderstand: Christ is central. He is the King of that Kingdom (Rev. 11:15). His death paid for your sins. His resurrection guarantees your hope. But the gospel is not Christ—it’s the message of the Kingdom He will rule. That’s what your Bible really says! Churches that preach only Christ’s person preach half a gospel—an incomplete gospel.
4. Why This Truth Was Lost
Within one generation, men twisted the message. Paul warned of “another gospel” in Galatians 1:6–9. Satan, the god of this world, blinded people to the gospel of the Kingdom (2 Cor. 4:4). What replaced it? Doctrines about going to heaven, or vague sentimental “good news” about Jesus, while the Kingdom message vanished.
5. Why This Matters Now
Look at our world: collapsing governments, corrupt leaders, endless wars. Democracy fails. Dictatorship enslaves. Human rule cannot fix itself. The only hope is what Christ announced: the government of God coming to replace man’s rule with justice, peace, and eternal purpose. That’s the real gospel!
CONCLUSION
If you believe the gospel is about Jesus alone, you’ve been robbed of half the truth. The true gospel is the message He preached—God’s Kingdom is coming! It is the only hope for this dying world—and for your life. To ignore it is to ignore the very reason Christ came.
OVER TO YOU
Stop believing the counterfeit gospels. Pick up your Bible. Mark every verse that says “gospel of the Kingdom.” See it for yourself. Then repent, surrender, and start living as a citizen of that Kingdom now—because the King is coming soon.
