The Biblical Calendar Christians Refuse to Keep
Christmas. Easter. Halloween. Valentine’s Day.
The holidays that fill your calendar aren’t God’s appointments—they’re human substitutes that hide His actual blueprint for history.
Meanwhile, buried in Leviticus 23, God laid out seven Holy Days that reveal His entire plan for humanity. These aren’t “Jewish festivals.” They’re prophecies in action, showing exactly how God will establish His Kingdom on earth.
The Bible reveals that God gave seven annual Holy Days as a prophetic blueprint of His Kingdom. These divine appointments (moedim in Hebrew) are not Jewish relics but God’s master timeline—showing how He will redeem mankind in stages. Ignore them, and you miss the plan of salvation itself.
God’s Appointments vs. Man’s Counterfeits
Leviticus 23:2 calls them “the feasts [or more accurately, divine appointments] of the LORD [YHWH],” not “the feasts of the Jews.” They are God’s appointments with His people.
Yet Christianity abandoned God’s calendar for Rome’s pagan celebrations. Christmas replaced the biblical birth timing. Easter obscured Passover’s meaning. Halloween mocks the resurrection hope.
Think of it this way: if the President scheduled seven crucial meetings to explain national policy that directly affects you, would you skip them to attend some meaningless neighborhood party instead? That’s exactly what mainstream Christianity did with God’s Holy Days.
The Spring Holy Days: Christ’s First Coming
Passover: Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7). This wasn’t symbolic—He died on the exact day God appointed thousands of years earlier.
Unleavened Bread: Picture of putting sin out and taking Christ in (1 Corinthians 5:8). For seven days, God commands His people to avoid leaven—a yearly reminder that true salvation demands repentance.
Pentecost: The Holy Spirit was poured out exactly on this day (Acts 2:1), empowering God’s firstfruits to live by His law and prepare to rule and teach in His Kingdom.
Each spring Holy Day happened precisely when God planned it. This isn’t coincidence—it’s divine precision revealing that God controls history according to His calendar, not ours.
The Fall Holy Days: Christ’s Second Coming
Trumpets: Christ returns as King (Revelation 11:15) and the dead in Christ are resurrected. The sound of the seventh and last trumpet announces His arrival to seize the reins of government.
Atonement: Satan removed so the world can be reconciled to God (Leviticus 16). The ancient ritual pointed to this coming reality—the deceiver bound, humanity finally at peace with God.
Tabernacles: The 1,000-year reign of Christ and His saints (Revelation 20:4). For seven days God commands rejoicing because this foreshadows the earth under God’s government.
Last Great Day: The final judgment period and resurrection of all who ever lived (John 7:37; Revelation 20:11-13). God’s plan includes everyone—offering salvation to all, not just a few now.
These aren’t past events—they’re future reality marching toward fulfillment.
Why Churches Abandoned God’s Plan
Satan hates God’s plan. He counterfeited it with holidays rooted in paganism—days that hide the truth of God’s Kingdom. Easter Sunday obscures Passover. Christmas buries the true meaning of God’s Holy Days.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 warned this would happen: people would turn from truth to fables. Trading God’s Holy Days for Christmas and Easter is exactly that trade.
The result? A “Christianity” that celebrates Christ’s birth but ignores His rule.
Conclusion
The world’s churches offer a gospel about “going to heaven” and man-made holidays that keep people in the dark. But God’s Holy Days proclaim the true gospel of the Kingdom—a step-by-step plan to redeem all humanity, defeat Satan, and build a divine Family to inherit the universe.
God’s Holy Days are not optional. They are the very blueprint of salvation. Miss them, and you live in darkness—never understanding why you were born or what God is doing with mankind.
But embrace them, and you walk in sync with the King of the universe, preparing for the day His government rules the earth… and all the galaxies beyond!
Over to You
Stop living by human tradition. Open your Bible to Leviticus 23. Mark God’s Holy Days on your calendar. Begin keeping them—not as “Jewish relics,” but as divine appointments with destiny.
You will see the gospel of the Kingdom come alive as never before.
