Abortion Is Not Healthcare — It’s Modern Child Sacrifice

Share with your family & friends!

“Abortion is healthcare.”

The World Health Organization declared in a brightly colored post.

To modern ears, it sounds compassionate. Protective. Empowering.

But beneath the clean design and feminist slogans lies a devastating lie:

Abortion doesn’t heal. It kills.

Healthcare is supposed to protect life — not end it.

Even apart from the Bible, biology affirms what conscience knows:

At conception, a unique human life with its own DNA begins. By six weeks, ultrasound can detect early cardiac activity, and brain development accelerates throughout the first trimester — with detectable brainwaves appearing later as the nervous system matures.

But this isn’t just about medicine.

It’s about morality. It’s about truth. It’s about God.

1. God Calls It Murder, Not Medicine

From the beginning, God made clear that life begins in the womb:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”
— Jeremiah 1:5

“You shall not murder.”
— Exodus 20:13

The Hebrew word ratsach (h7523) refers to unjust killing — exactly what abortion is: the intentional destruction of a voiceless, defenseless human made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).

Christ didn’t die to give us the freedom to kill.

He died to redeem life, not destroy it.

2. Abortion Is the Modern Equivalent of Child Sacrifice

In ancient times, babies were offered to Molech for prosperity and ease.

Today, the reasons haven’t changed. The altars just look cleaner.

“They built the high places of Baal… to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire…”
— Jeremiah 19:5

God never approved such slaughter. He called it detestable — and warned it would defile nations (Leviticus 20:2–5).

We no longer bow to bronze idols — we bow to comfort, career, and control. But the blood still cries out.

3. The Shedding of Innocent Blood Pollutes the Land

“Do not pollute the land where you are… Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made… except by the blood of the one who shed it.”
— Numbers 35:33

Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, over 65 million abortions have occurred in the United States alone.

Each one a heartbeat.
Each one a name only God knew.
Each one a cry heaven heard.

We wonder why the world is falling apart. Isaiah told us long ago:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil…”
— Isaiah 5:20

But What About Rape, Incest, or Trauma?

These are real tragedies that deserve real compassion. But taking an innocent life doesn’t heal a broken one. Justice doesn’t come by killing a child — it comes by supporting the mother and protecting the unborn. Both lives matter to God.

4. God Offers Mercy — But Never Without Repentance

For those who’ve had an abortion, the pain is deep. The guilt can feel unbearable. But God’s mercy is greater than your past.

“Let the wicked forsake his way… and return to the LORD, and He will have mercy…”
— Isaiah 55:7

Repentance (metanoia) is more than regret. It’s a complete turn — of heart, mind, and direction.

Not excuses. Not blame. Just truth, surrender, and healing.

Christ told the woman caught in sin:

“Neither do I condemn you… go and sin no more.”
— John 8:11

There is mercy — but always through repentance.

5. The Kingdom of God Will End All Injustice

The gospel is not just about forgiveness — it’s about a coming Kingdom.

Christ will return — not to accommodate this broken world, but to replace it.

“He shall judge the poor with righteousness… and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.”
— Isaiah 11:4

No more child sacrifice.
No more twisted laws.
No more wombs turned into battlegrounds.

In that world, every life will be wanted.
Every mother will be cherished.
And every scalpel used for death will be beaten into plowshares (Isaiah 2:4).

Conclusion: This Is the Line in the Sand

Abortion is not just a medical issue.
It’s not just a political issue.
It is a spiritual war, a moral deception, and a national curse.

If you’re a believer, this is your moment to stand.
If you’re undecided, this is your chance to see clearly.
If you’re hurting, this is your path to healing.

Now is the time to choose sides:

Not Right or Left.
Not red or blue.
But Life or Death.
Truth or Lies.
Kingdom or Chaos.

“Choose life, that you and your children may live.”
— Deuteronomy 30:19
